WHO WE ARE
The AUTHENTICS was founded in 2016 when a communication coach, a theatre-maker and a filmmaker collided in Amsterdam.
We discovered a mutual passion for communication and creativity, and dreamed of building something exciting together, by pooling our experiences so that we can share what we've learned with others.
We developed five workshops, YOU PRESENT, YOUR STORY, YOU CREATE, YOUR VIDEO and YOU CONVERSE, which have become the pillars of what we do.
Our team is always growing. We collaborate with artists and guest practitioners from a wide range of disciplines. If you'd like to join our team, please feel free to get in touch.
FELIX RITTER
Felix is a communication coach and dramaturg.
He was born and educated in Germany, studying Philosophy at JW Goethe University before delving into the world of theatre. He trained with Theatre L'Opprime in France and did a master of applied theatre research in Gießen.
Felix worked in Germany as a director, then moved to Amsterdam, where his focus shifted to dramaturgy, an important part of performance and story-telling.
Felix discovered his aptitude for communication training when he was asked to train Lutheran reverends in public speaking skills. Since then, he has trained software engineers, university professors, managers and sales teams.

Fun fact: Felix is the son of a preacher man.
MARTA PISCO
Marta is a personal development coach and theatre maker.
Born in Portugal and, following a degree in Architecture in her home country, she moved to the Amsterdam in 2003 to complete a Master of Theatre at DasArts.
Since then she has worked as a teacher, performer, producer and curator in both the Netherlands and Brazil. Whatever the field, Marta's projects always involve intercultural communication. One project she is particularly proud of is Green Monster, which saw her travelling to Aleppo, Beirut, Amsterdam and Luxembourg.
Her training as a coach began in 2011 at the New School for Communication in Amsterdam, alongside Felix.

SUSANNA BRENNER
Susanna is a visual artist, filmmaker and media presence coach.
Born in Germany, she began her education there as a goldsmith, then moved to the Netherlands to continue her studies. She holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Gerrit Rietveld Academie, and a master in Fine Arts from the Piet Zwart Institute.
Her artistic work is multidisciplinary, with film as a main focus. She has a passion for zooming in on details, without loosing the whole.
Susanna is co-founder of VideoMachas, a videocontent production company based in Amsterdam. Clients include Het Concertgebouw and de Nationale Opera.
